About the Gallery

This artist-run gallery and small print studio shows the work of David Sim, his wife Susie Lacome and their daughter, Rachel.
David and Susie specialise in hand-made, limited edition, linocut and silkscreen prints, inspired by the character and charm of the local East Neuk fishing villages and historic towns.
Rachel uses inks and collage in her lively drawings of harbour scenes representing the distinctive architecture of Fife's coastal villages.
After many years working as book illustrators, Susie and David re-discovered their interest in print-making in 2000 when they joined the newly opened Printmaker's Workshop, part of the Dundee Contemporary Arts Centre.
In 2001 they opened the Crail Gallery to display and sell their prints, taking turns to work in their own small print workshop at the rear of the gallery.
A changing selection of these unique prints (available framed or unframed) are always on show at the gallery.
Many of the books for children which Susie and David have illustrated are also for sale with signed copies available.
